Candy Grams Time!
Candy Grams are paper messages with a piece of candy attached that students and parents can purchase for 50 cents each to be delivered to teachers on February 14. What a great way to encourage a child or a whole class! Individual grams can be purchased before school between 8:45 and 9:15 each morning beginning Wednesday, February 8 and ending Monday, February 13. Pre-orders will be accepted until Monday, February 6. Order forms can be downloaded HERE. Please make checks payable to "DDES-PTA" or send cash with your orders.

Parents' Night Out!
On Saturday, February 11, Championship Martial Arts Cary is offering babysitting for up to 30 of our students at a rater of $15 for the first child and $10 for each additional child. Children will have an introductory karate class, enjoy a pizza dinner, and play fun games in a safe and fun environment. The time is from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and reservations can be made by paying in full at Championship Martial Arts Cary. (919-223-4454)

Reflections Arts Program 2011-12
Those students who represented the school at the Wake Council level will be treated to a special recognition breakfast on Monday, February 13. Thank you to all who participated this year. We had a great group of students participate in our gallery display!
